Using the Lead time view
The Lead time page shows how far in advance guests book, split by date, room type, and segment. Lead time is the number of days between a booking being made and the guest arriving.

The summary cards
Two cards at the top of the page show the totals for your chosen dates.
Lead time: the average lead time, in days.
Rooms: the number of room nights sold.
Which bookings are counted depends on the Stay or Creation filter. With Stay, Explorer counts the bookings staying within your dates. With Creation, it counts the bookings made within your dates.
Lead time by bracket
This report groups your bookings by how far ahead they were made. There are eight brackets, which are 0-1 day, 2-3 days, 4-7 days, 8-14 days, 15-30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days, and 91+ days.
This report counts room nights. Use it to see whether your guests tend to book at the last minute or well ahead.
Lead time by date
This report shows the average lead time for each day, week, or month, depending on the View filter.
Lead time by day of the week
This report shows the average for each day from Monday to Sunday. In the table, Count shows how many of each weekday fall within your dates. It only appears when the View filter is set to Daily.
Lead time by requested room type
This report shows the average for each room type the guest booked.
Lead time by segment
This report shows the average for each of your segment groups, with the segments from your property management system (PMS) listed beneath each one. Use it to see which guest types book furthest ahead.
The Lead time page has no Revenue filter, because it doesn't show revenue. To learn how to read the charts and tables, see Reading Explorer reports.
