Verifying your email address

When you sign up for Beacon, we send a verification code to your email address.

Confirming your email matters for a few reasons: it makes sure we can reach you about your trial, it keeps your account recoverable if you ever need to reset your password, and it means important messages about your account actually get to you.

It only takes a moment once the code arrives.

Where to find your code

The code comes from [email protected], with a subject line that starts with your code. If it isn't in your inbox, it's almost always in one of these three places, and corporate email systems are the usual reason.

Your spam or junk folder. Check the Junk or Spam folder in your email. If you find the message there, open it, and mark it as "not junk" or "not spam" so future messages reach your inbox. The code is in the subject line, so you may be able to read it without even opening the email.

Your company's quarantine or held-mail digest. Many hotels and larger companies run a security system that holds unfamiliar emails before they reach your inbox, so the message won't appear in your normal email at all, not even in Junk. These systems usually send you a periodic summary, often once a day, with a subject like "quarantine summary," "held messages," or "email security digest." Look for one of those. Our code appears in the subject line shown in that summary, so you can often read it straight from the list, or use the "release" or "allow" option to let the message through.

With your IT team. Some company systems hold these messages where only your IT or email administrator can see them, with no summary sent to you. If you can't find a digest anywhere, this is likely what's happening. Ask whoever manages your email to look for a held message from [email protected], or to add getbeacon.cloud to the list of allowed senders.

Still can't find it

Check the address is right. Look at the email address shown on your account. If there's a typo, that's why nothing arrived.

Email us at [email protected] from the address you signed up with (if possible), and we'll confirm your account for you.
