Using filters

Three filters sit at the top of every Rate Radar view (Overview, Calendar, Detail). They control which subset of competitor rates you're comparing.

The three filters

• Guest count / Room type — the minimum number of guests the rate must accommodate, or a specifically mapped room type.

• Meal plan — the meal inclusion in the rate. Choose Any meal to see the cheapest rate regardless, or limit to Room only or Breakfast included to compare like-for-like.

• Rate type — which rate to display when a property has multiple rates. Options are Lowest (the cheapest matching rate), Non-refundable, or Free cancellations (the most expensive).

How filters affect the views

Changing a filter refreshes every view at once. The bar chart, rate cards, day cards, Calendar grid, Detail chart, Detail table, and Parity monitor all use the same filter settings. If your Comp median suddenly looks wrong, the filter is usually the first thing to check.
